10/20/2005 - The Northern Arizona University Campus Sustainability Steering Committee
is currently circulating the following "pledge."

This is a screenshot of the NAU Sustainability Pledge.  Accessing the web page requires an NAU account and password, so it is not available to the public.  That one must log in to access this page means that NAU officials can insure that faculty, staff and students have, in fact, "signed" this pledge.  If that ability to monitor how well we are following the party line at NAU strike you as a potential abuse of power, you're not alone!  The screen image has been cut off below the "submit pledge" button, as that area shows my name, my e-mail and my place of work.
